Research and Development Laboratory
With over 80 years of collective innovation expertise and 40 patents, we offer highly successful, straightforward, and scalable treatment processes and innovative technologies for managing a variety of waste streams. We operate our research and development laboratories (R&D Labs) within all of our licensed and permitted waste treatment facilities, which ensures that our personnel are available for consultation on any scale-up issues encountered during bench testing.
All of our facilities are licensed and permitted to conduct R&D on waste streams containing a diverse range of regulated radiological and chemical components. Our primary R&D laboratory is conveniently located in Gainesville, FL at our Perma-Fix of Florida facility.
We utilize on-site radiological and chemical analysis for immediate feedback during treatment process development. For analytes that are beyond the scope of on-site instrumentation we have active service contracts with third-party commercial and university laboratories.
Through collaboration with our waste treatment operations staff across our four treatment, storage, and disposal facilities, we can easily develop solutions that are not only effective but practical and economical for our customers.
