Overview: Demolition and removal of asbestos contaminated facilities at the Marine Corps Base in Quantico, VA. Following demolition and remediation, we provided proper grading and drainage, restoring sites to useable space.
We are pleased to serve the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on key remediation projects. Reporting to the Huntsville Division in cooperation with the Northeast Region U.S. Facilities Reduction Program, we provided all labor, supplies and services, plus essential expertise in abatement, demolition, and project management, returning the site to useable space.
Quantico is a United States Marine Corps installation located near Triangle, Virginia,
covering nearly 55,148 acres (86.169 sq mi) of southern
Prince William County, Virginia, northern Stafford County, and southeastern Fauquier County.
We designed and implemented to conform to the requirements in the FRP Region MATOC, the
performance work statement, and all applicable federal,
state, and local regulations, and all work plans and submittals. We presented a completed
description of the planning, assessment, and
demolition process
as applied to the facilities. Other personnel required on-site included Site Safety and
Health Officer and Quality Control Manager. Every effort was made to
ensure abatement, demolition, and site restoration was accomplished to facilitate the
completion of the higher priority structures before the lower priority structures.
